All Stitched Up - Fall Scrapbook Layout

This week on the Heart 2 Heart Challenges blog stitching is the task. That is something that I already have artwork for whether it be faux stitching, stitching by hand or by machine. And to prove I do still scrapbook from time to time, I thought it would be appropriate for me to share a layout. (I don't post as many layouts as they seem to be harder to capture decent photos of, but I am working on it.)

I probably shared this layout a while back. I had entered it into a CTMH contest and won - my first art contest win for a layout. While I was Convention, I sat next to Joanne Walton and she told me how much she loved my layout (she remembered it after all this time). Talk about making a girls day! Thank you Joanne!

Two in One: Gift Card Holder & Photo Frame

Easel cards have been very popular lately and here is my version for my All You Can Create Card Buffet. You'll notice it is attached to a basic box (I like to say it is like a mini pizza box). It is the perfect size to hold a gift card, maybe some flat chocolates or a mini pen and set of post it notes. These would make marvelous and easy teacher gifts (of course you might opt for a stamped image rather than a photo).

Would you like to see a tutorial for this? If so, leave me a comment.

It's Official - It's a Winner

Each quarter we get together for a team meeting. There is always a card swap contest. We all create 6 cards to swap and then vote on our favorites. After winning the last couple, I have started to feel a bit stressed to always do better than the previous team meeting. This morning there were some darling cards (stiff competition) and I honestly was susprised when my card won. For my team members thank you for voting for my card, I promised I'll try to come up with something even better next time around :)

This card was inspired by a card we created at Convention - one of the many reasons I love attending!
