My Grandma's House - Studio J (digital scrapbooking)

I've told this story before, but now that I have the pictures scrapbooked I'd like to share it once again. My dear friend and extra special real estate agent, Stephanie Baldwin, took time out of her busy day to walk me through my Grandma's house that was up for sale. My Grandma passed away back in '97 and pretty much all of my memories of her are within this house. I had always wished that I had been in a place to purchase the home. Being just out of high school when she passed away, it was not in the cards. What a treat it was to walk back into "her" home. Even after 13 years, it still felt like Grandma. The owner of the home had change so little.

I have included larger photos of each page, so you can read my journaling easier.

Close To My Heart Studio J (Digital Scrapbooking) Bootcamp

I am super excited! This morning I registered for Close To My Heart's Consultant Only Studio J Boot Camp. In May, I'll be taking off for two days of in-depth training on all this Studio J, where we'll be learning advance creative techniques by creating an album of layouts. Close To My Heart is even going to have our layouts ready for us to bring home and show everyone. 

After returning, I'll be hosting my own Studio J Boot Camp to show you all that I learned. But you don't have to wait until then to start playing with Studio J - an easy peasy digital scrapbooking solution for all those precious photos that are begging to be let out of the dark recesses of your hard drives, camera, etc. They were important enough to take, now take a few minutes to scrap them!

Rolled Paper Roses with Heart Shaped Pocket

After returning from CU, I was inspired to design this project to share at my upcoming team meeting. The folded heart shaped pocket is beyond easy to create and the rolled paper roses were the perfect final touch. Check out the video to learn how to create your very own.
