New: Video Tutorial (Simple Beauty)

After an entire afternoon of fighting with my computer and new camera, I was able to achieve my goal of creating my first ever online video tutorial creating the card shown above. I have been contemplating this for over a year and now that I have the first one done, I can't wait to do another. If there are any topics or techniques that you'd like covered, leave me a comment and I'll see what I can do. It isn't perfect, but I hope that you enjoy it anyhow.

  3. Wow! Love the card. But more than that I'm motivated by your blog and video clip. As a teacher, I can see benefits for a better home/school connection. Thanks for the inspiration! And heck, maybe I'll even try my hand at some cards!!

  5. Hi Christine-
I am amazed at how you have time to work your business, spend time with 2 boys, graduate from college and still have time to work on a Masters degree. You are truely amazing!

  6. Thank you Kim! I don't know how I find the time either, since I don't feel like I have any (lol). Just wanted to clarify one little thing though, the Master's Degree I am working on is through the Close To My Heart Training Academy. Not an actual college Master's Degree. ;)

  7. Great video! I would never have guessed it was your first one. I wasn't sure if I liked this stamp set and now I do. Great card! I am happy to find your blog, since I am a CTMH consultant too and love to see what other consultants create. I am definitely subscribing to your blog.

Is there a purpose for using the foam under the card you are stamping ?I saw this done once before and never knew if it was for better stamping, or just to keep things clean. Probably silly question, but i just never have known the answer.
    Your card is lovely.
